Our department receives funds and processes refunds related to student accounts, other departments, and customer accounts. We also issue receipts for payments received by cash, check, or credit card. View tuition payment options.

Please Note
- Highline Cashiers require your ctcLink #, and a picture ID (Highline photo ID or Government issued ID) at the window
- Due to FERPA, when emailing the Cashier’s Office, please use your preferred email that you have set up through ctcLink to receive detailed information about your student account balance and provide your ctcLink number.

Cash
You can make a tuition payment via cash at the cashier window in building 6, lower level. Please review the hours of operation of when the cashier office is open.

You can make a payment via online using a Visa, MasterCard or Discover at the ctcLink for Students page

Online Payment Plan
Highline College offers a third party online payment plan with Nelnet.

3rd Party Voucher
If paying with a 3rd party voucher (SEIU, BOEING, DSHS/DVR etc) please email your voucher to dsevere@highline.edu for processing.

Check
If you would like to pay with a check or money order, please make the check out to Highline College, include your ctcLink number. You can make the payment via check at the cashier window in building 6, lower level. Please review the hours of operation of when the cashier office is open or you can mail your check to:

Des Moines, WA 98198* Scholarship check – please drop off your scholarship check at the cashier window in building 6, lower level and make sure check is presented to the cashier window before tuition deadline. (it must be payable to Highline College)
Paying Tuition and Fee
Tuition payment is due each quarter. To avoid being dropped for non-payment, please make payment before the deadline. If you drop after the 100% refund period and have not paid your tuition, you are responsible for paying 60% of the class(es) dropped during the 40% refund period. After the 40% refund period, if you drop and have not paid tuition you are responsible for paying 100% of the class(es) dropped. Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Washington State Legislation. Additional fees may be associated with specific courses. For questions about charges on your account, please email the cashier’s office.

Refunds
The amount of the refund depends on the date you drop or withdraw. If it is after the 40% refund deadline, no refund is issued. To request an exception, you can submit a registration petition for an exception to the policy. Exceptions will only be approved under certain conditions.
1098-T
Highline College will produce a 1098-T Tuition Statement form for students enrolled for qualifying tuition and class fees for the calendar year.
