Centrally located on the second floor of Building 8, Highline Student Union (HSU), The Fireside Bistro is your destination for specialty beverages, espresso and grab-and-go snacks. Featuring:

• Freshly brewed Espresso drinks from Caffe D’arte, energy drink Italian sodas, teas, and lemonades handcrafted by Highline College’s student staff baristas.
• Grab-and-Go meal options from Alki Bakery include salads, sandwiches, pizza, wraps, snack trays, assorted pastries, and hot soup.

Ground to Tree Coffee

Conveniently located on the ground floor of Building 29, Central Washington University (CWU) Des Moines Campus, Ground to Tree offers coffee and espresso drinks, soft pretzels, pastries, and assorted snacks.

• The cafe is entirely student-operated with a majority of our baristas pursuing degrees or certificates in the HOST program.
• Ground to Tree’s coffee comes from a local organization called Grounds For Change, a family-owned and operated coffee roasting business.
